Warren Wilson has been a practitioner of East Asian Medicine since graduating from Brisbane College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1976. He has undertaken intensive studies in East Asia (Korea, China and Japan) where he lived for 10 years.He has been in active clinical practice for over 40 years, running a successful business in Sydney before recently moving to South Hobart.Warren is an Aust Government registered Acupuncturist through AHPRA with the registration number: CMR0001725598Warren has developed a unique treatment style, based on the treatment strategies of Kiiko Matsumoto, a highly esteemed Acupuncturist of the Japanese tradition of Master Nagano.
What can Acupuncture treat?
In essence, Acupuncture assists the body to heal itself.When energy is not flowing freely through the body, blood flow and organ function are affected. By harmonising the "vibrational frequency" of energy flow through the respective energy channels / pathways of the body, balance and healing can occur. Acupuncture has the capacity to be the “medium" for this healing to occur. This occurs when very fine, pre sterilised acupuncture needles are inserted shallowly into specific points on the body.However, without an accurate diagnosis, this cannot happen. So, an accurate diagnosis, based on Traditional East Asian Medicine and its unique palpation techniques and observations is essential.Some common examples of treatable conditions that acupuncture can assist with are:
